Goodbye and Hello

Here's some of the things I won't miss when I lose weight along with the things I look forward to after the weight is gone (this will be an ongoing list):
  • Goodbye 3X's and shopping for the biggest tunics
    • Hello to getting out of the Plus size departments usually hidden in the basements, the very back of the store or next to the Petite sections of Department Stores (Macy's, you know who I'm talking about and Nordstroms?...you can't even find the plus sizes because there is only one rack of over priced dresses!)
  • Goodbye seat belt extension on an airplanes
  • Goodbye to chafing on my upper thighs/Goodbye to pants needing alteration from fabric rubbing together,
  • Goodbye to not being able to sit in booths in restaurants.  I really do prefer a booth, but they're just too small right now.
  • Hello to being able to walk without pain.  Hopefully this procedure will help (cure?) the Achilles tendonosis and I can take my walks in the San Bruno mountains and anywhere else I choose.
  • GOODBYE TO MY CPAP!
  • Hello to easy entry and exit from the BMW Z3.  Will make it more fun to drive by myself more.
  • Hello to wearing dresses again.  I am unable to wear dresses because I have an issue about sweaty parts and the wet spots.  That's enough information.
  • Hello to crossing my legs again. That will be a big milestone in my weight loss...wow; yet another thing that just seems to go away without a sound.
  • Goodbye to tying my shoes on the side.
    • Hello to the laces bow on the top of the shoe.
  • Hello camping!  Since I've had to be dependent on a CPAP for all these years, and they dont' make an affordable battery pack, I have been unable to enjoy the great outdoors and delicious campfire breakfasts....and real s'mores (which I will have to eat at my own peril after the surgery anyway)
  • Hello Yoga! I'll be able to get on the floor again without having to get a crane to get me up. Ah,  Sun Salutation...
  • Hello to horseback riding...yeah, I'm going to go horseback riding when I lose a significant amount of weight.
