Things are starting to come together. I found out I need to have another Doputamine Cardiac Stess Test. They're not joking when they say "Stress Test". I had the procedure 3 years ago when I contemplating having gastric bypas and it felt like my heart was going to explode and there was nothing I could do to control the event. I hope since I've been through it before, I know what's going to happen and it won't be such a surprise and I know it will be over at some point. I still have to schedule the procedure and it's Labor Day weekend, so I have to wait until next Tuesday.
The good news is I don't have to have the upper GI endoscopy; the barium swallow and xrays will be enough. Well, one out of two tests I was hoping to avoid isn't going to be as bad as I thought. I know I have to do these tests for my own safety and that is very important. If it makes it easy for the surgeon, then it makes is easy for me in the long run.
I really, really want to take the weekend of the 18th to go to Lake Tahoe with John and the "the boys" Noodles and Butter, so I hope I can get the stress test scheduled sooner than later.
Here are the fur kids:
These guys keep me laughing. They're getting older now, but then, who isn't?
I've started to sleep better now that things are coming together and all I have to do is get things done until the surgery day.
I have gone ahead and ordered the CarbEssentials package for the first three weeks that Dr. Jossart has put together for his patients. I like things easy and if it's already put together, then that's for me.
Nothing exciting planned for this Labor Day weekend. Finishing up my week at work and then catching up on sleep...just the usual.
