I'm shrinking!

Yesterday my husband looked at me and said: "You're shrinking, babe." I said: "I know, I've lost 12lbs." He said: "No, before when you lost weight, you could always see an area where the weight had come off. Now, you're  just... shrinking...you're getting smaller." 
Then,  he gave me a hug, he said: "Wow! It's easier to put my arms around you!"
That is so amazing and wonderful to hear. It's something I've been waiting to hear said for a long time.
While I'm not small by any means yet, I feel like I'm becoming petite! Who knows, maybe underneath all this is a petite woman? My mom was petite, but she was shorter than I am. 
That would be something after all those years of having to buy my clothes in department stores in the Plus size section, which they always place next to the Petites.  I think it's one of the more subtle cruelties big companies use to shame the larger population.


I cannot wait to start eating soft food!  Have you ever heard anyone say that to you? I am so looking forward to next week when I can have cottage cheese and yogurt and eggs, and tuna!
I am watching daytime TV which consists of judge and cooking shows.  I've got my favorite judges (Judy and Milian), but I do love the cooking shows.  The BIG problem is wanting to eat it all so much.  A friend of mine said she really didn't feel like eating after this procedure.  At this point, I would love to have had some popcorn like my husband last night watching a movie.  All I could do was smell it; literally, taking the bowl before he dug into it and sniff away.  I nearly swooned!
I just need to be patient for only a little while, and the payback is getting so large...


while I'm getting so small!
